8 oz of our Flight coffee aged in a bourbon barrel is smooth and full bodied. We taste Freedom, Oak, and Bourbon.
Is this coffee alcoholic?
No. During the roasting process all of the residual bourbon absorbed by the beans is evaporated. All of the bourbon flavor with none of the alcohol. Or, as we like to say, “All of the caffeine with none of the hangover.”
How long are the beans aged?
We put our un-roasted Colombian “Flight” Coffee into a bourbon barrel from Two Sicilians. Once all of the beans are in the barrel they will rest for 2-4 weeks until the beans have absorbed the natural oak and bourbon flavors. Then it’s off to the roaster!
When should I drink this coffee?
This coffee is perfect for an after-dinner beverage! Or as a morning beverage if you don’t like your job and need a taste of bourbon before dealing with people. No judgements.
